Deep Breathe to Prepare!
Okay, deep breath. Where do I even start with this book? I picked up Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1) not really knowing what to expect. Honestly, I was in a bit of a rut – feeling disconnected, questioning a lot of things about life, purpose, and… well, everything that felt bigger than me. I’d seen this series around for years, always a bit intimidated by the title and the sheer size of the books, but something finally prompted me to dive in.From the very first few pages, I knew this wasn’t going to be a typical read. It felt less like reading about something and more like being invited into a very intimate, profound conversation. The format, presented as a direct dialogue, was initially a little jarring, but I quickly settled into the rhythm. It’s like the questions I had swirling in my own head were being asked, and the answers that came back were… surprisingly direct, sometimes challenging, but often incredibly comforting. What struck me most was the perspective it offered. It didn’t just give answers; it seemed to gently dismantle some of my long-held beliefs and assumptions about God, life, death, love, and fear. It wasn’t preachy or dogmatic; instead, it felt like a vast, loving intelligence patiently explaining things in a way that resonated deep down. There were moments I had to put the book down, just to sit and process, because the ideas were so expansive and shifted my viewpoint so significantly.Yes, it’s a substantial book – over 700 pages! Taking it on felt like a commitment, but I found myself looking forward to picking it up. It wasn’t a book to rush through; it was one to absorb, to ponder, to argue with internally, and ultimately, to integrate. It felt like a journey I was taking with the author and, in a strange way, with the ‘voice’ in the book itself. This book didn’t give me all the answers neatly packaged, but it did something perhaps more valuable: it changed the way I looked at the questions. It left me feeling more peaceful, more connected, and with a renewed sense of wonder about the universe and my place in it. It’s not an easy read in the sense that it requires your full attention and an open mind, but it is profoundly rewarding. If you’re feeling a pull towards deeper questions, if you’re open to challenging your current understanding of spirituality and life, and if you’re ready for a book that might just shift your perspective in a beautiful way, I honestly can’t recommend Conversations with God enough. It was a truly one-of-a-kind reading experience for me.

new age versus religion
I read this trilogy several years ago as it was first coming out, and it positively changed the way I looked at a lot of things. first of all, if you are a zealous christian or something these books are probably not going to be to your taste, unless you happen to be the only one out there with an open mind. Walsch begins the first book by sitting down like a kid writing an angry letter to santa about the crappy christmas he just had, only the letter is to god and the christmas is his life. then, he describes how his hand just kind of sat there, and he was suddenly writing the words ‘do you want an answer to any of that or are you just venting?’ to which he sat wonderingly and then responded with ‘answers’, and the dialogue was born.an example of the kind of writing you will find follows.page 44, god- ‘all physical life functions in accordance with natural laws. Once you remember these laws, and apply them, you have mastered life at the physical level.’skipping some dialogue after that to the next page, Neale asks, “then how can I know these laws? how can I learn them?”god- ‘it is not a question of learning, but of remembering.’Neale- “how can I remember them?”god- ‘begin by being still. quiet the outer world, so that the inner world might bring you sight. this in-SIGHT is what you seek, yet you cannot have it while you are so deeply concerned with your outer reality. seek, therefore, to go within as much as possible. and when you are not going within, come FROM within as you deal with the outside world. remember this axiom:If you do not go within, you go without.put it into the first person as you repeat it, to make it more personal. If I do not go withinI go without.’these books are literally filled to bursting with such cleverness, playing on words to make very decent points in my opinion, and will sparkle that brain of yours to make you think about things you may never have considered before if you have never read any new age material.the difference between this and most other new age material I have read, is this focuses on the same reality that books from the Kryon by Lee Caroll for example espouse, yet from that exclusive point of view belonging to organized religionists.the arguments reflect ‘bible thumper’ thinking, rather than what some call wiccan or ‘tree hugger’ thinking.for example, in a kryon book, you may get a topic about abundance, and the flow starts from ‘you are all dearly loved’ to ‘you own your abundance, you yourself are denying it from you, not gaia or the world around you.’ and finishes up with ‘and so it is.’that’s average new age flavor for you, and actually I don’t mind that at all as I have seen some that is downright ludicrous marshmellowy fluff stuff.Walsch’s dialogue keeps it much more down to earthish, although there is the occasional ‘you inspire me!’ which is kind of fluffy in my opinion but then god answers, ‘well, if god can’t inspire you, who in hell can?’ which isn’t.it is very easy to get a warped sense of view on the whole new age thing from so many out there who focus on aliens, and conspiracies, but the good ones focus on philosophy and how to think, not at all the same thing to my mind.a good website to check out if you are interested in looking at a quality contemporary and ongoing new age website is crimsoncircle.com, and kryon.com for material closer to when these books came out. I just bought seven of Walschs books, some of which I had read like these three and a couple I had not yet, and the one I am reading now, What God wants, I highly recommend if you enjoy the first three. He has a way of putting arguments that may be rolling around in your head down simply and compactly, at least for me, and it is fun reading the dialogue books for the clever plays on words and the startling way certain seemingly straightforward questions you may have asked yourself in that situation are answered.at any rate, they will make you think, strengthening your own personal philisophical foundation, which can only ever be good-again in my opinion, and while some parts can be a little harsh on the organized religionists, it is their own fault for being so closed-minded about everything they can’t see such obvious glaring inconsistencies with their beliefs and philisophical approach to life.one thing more- these books are not seemingly written as attacking organized religion or anything, but the arguments and points of view expressed by them are definately unhealthy to the dogma of revered and traditional church-type canon passed down through generations of god-fearing men to save the poor sinners on the judgement day that hasn’t happened yet.have a great day!

Inspirational, Liberating, Resounding of Truth
I bought the combined, three Conversations with God books and read each book, one after the other in order without stopping to read anything else for weeks. I found all the conversations with God to be inspiring, liberating, and resounding with truth. The questions asked by Walsch were questions I would ask of God, myself. The answers given were, in every case, ultimately inspirational. I was very encouraged by the Words of God in the books. Yes, I just wrote “…the Words of God…” because I believe they are. How can I state that? How can I know that? What does any of us know, really, when we frame our knowledge with pessimism, cynicism, and pragmatism in such as way as to negate anything that we cannot readily experience with our five senses? But then, what do we feel to be true, to have the resounding ring of truth, when we allow ourselves to experience the world with everything that we are? In other words, those with a closed mind will possibly find the books to be nonsense, or might even feel anger about the books. I read the books again, the second time, playing the devil’s advocate, with a critical mind. I was still inspired, and could find nothing that that did not serve my higher physical and spiritual being. The books were liberating for me, because I have long felt and believed these things to self-evident, but able to express my beliefs with few people. I have lived in a world of people who believe what they are told by religion, politics, sciences, etc, and rarely think for themselves. The books broke through the walls that have held back loving reason in spirituality, helped me realize my own voice through the Walsch’s questions, and verify that which I had held true on the deepest levels. For instance, God reminds us that there is no hell. I have long believed, despite popular Christian beliefs, that God would have neither have need nor desire for hell. Hell is a human-created, fallacious idea designed to control people through fear.As I re-read many parts of the books, I have never found anything that would work against my being of a higher mind. Over and over again, the words in the books resounded with God’s truth. The books are obviously divinely inspired. I regularly refer to the books for various reasons, and constantly find answers to questions, inspiration, occasionally solace.I hope that everyone in the world reads the Conversations with God books, and sincerely gives the truth within them an opportunity to free their minds from the misinformation and misunderstanding prevalent throughout the world’s religions.

Profound & Refreshing
I have seen this book on the shelves of book stores, but I didn’t take it too seriously until I viewed a DVD about the life and transformation of Neale Donald Walsch. I watched the movie several times because what he was transcribing was very profound and refreshing. This is an amazing book. Echoes of Buddhism, Tolle, Micheal Newton, and the Dead Sea Scrolls resonate with likened meaning. It is spirituality rediscovered, I believe, as it should be. When we examine modern Christianity, we see a two part God, a loving God and an angry God. A God that will bless us, or condemn us to hell. We are born in sin and forever have to try and scrape back to being somewhat righteous in the eyes of God. When we examine the history of Biblical Scripture, we see a very different story. With the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls there was a great deal of excitement, but they were supressed by the catholic church for some 50 years. Why? When the scrolls were finally released by the Huntington Library in the 90’s, there was a rediscovery of what it is to be human, with regard to the energy of the earth and cosmos. We are created magnificently with god=like characteristics. Enter the realm of quantum physics and it resonates that we can create our own reality by thought, and the energy collectively produces results. This is the new attitude of the 21st century. The catholic church was bitterly opposed to the release of the scrolls because it underminded their power and control. The Conversations With God reveal that God is neither condemning nor indifferent. God is neutral. The insructions are that we create what we want and God seeks the life experience we gain thru our decisions. The onus is on us. This is what modern day thinking has echoed all along, we have to change and gain a new consciousness. This is what CWG teaches, and instucts. CWG also guides as to what we need to do in order to bring about a self transformation that can and will produce dramatic results. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not undermining Christ, but Jesus said that we can do as he does, and greater things. CWG takes away the dependency we have on others and places it squarely at our feet. It promotes self responsibility. CWG teaches what we know as the 10 commandments into the 10 Commitments, and that when we truly know God thru a new understanding, we will choose not to offend others, and develop a sanctity for all life, including the planet. There are many people who will mock this book, claiming their way is the only way. Others will kill in God’s name. Blind faith and radical fundamentalism is extremely dangerous. CWG tells us, instructs us, and teaches us a harmonic way of living, and it comes to us at the time we need it most. Also, Neale Donald Walsch does not appear to have an agenda like other so called visionaries. He doesn’t ask or beg for money in God’s name, and he doesn’t exploit his wealth. That should say volumes. Perhaps this guy, like Tolle, is the real deal, whose primary concern is for the evolution of us, our potential, and the planet. Rather than condemn, read the book with an open mind. Yes, you may be offended, and yes you may have to really ponder things ( like sin, evil, and hell) but overall read it with an open mind.

For those who are of open to see, within these page you find the way to be TRUELY free just ike me! Thank you God…
Second verse is the same as the first. The first verse is the header I/we wrote above.((those who are of open to see, within these page you find the way to be TRULY free just like me!))Don’t look for what isn’t. Trust your HEART that got you to this part. There is NO devil of fire and brim, just this little ass in your head named (((ego))) He/She’s the thought telling you right now that I’m a wacko. After 42 years of Catholicism, Believing my chemical engineers at Halliburton my part in FRAC systems WASN’T K#@&ING Earth and excepting a six figure green$paper stuff & PERKS that would scare the insane. But what started my way to BEING FREE. Childhood of Watching PBS,NBC,CBS,ABC then FOX, but first crazy ass Mrs. Brady & that Prozac bunch letting me know every dam week that I and my family didn’t stack up.Well before I was 10 and until the little kid I was stopped feeling ANYTHING, about 14 years old did it.. I somehow had the audacity not to wear Jordash/Calivan-Klein/Guess jeans and had shoes without Nike/Adidas/Reebok shapes on those little shoes, gave so many kids the justification to call me those (((names))) . At first I didn’t know what they were, but the anger and rage in there eyes & mouths got the MESSAGE in there. Because I didn’t say them back. That found the need to get there message delivered, SO out came beat up Bryan time & tym & tym again until I didn’t feel time for along while. But what had a huge effect on that boy was when I asked my dad what those words met? He never did say, but by the rage in his belt that my heart could not felt. As dad was delivering his way message to my body. He did say to me. “You did something to make them mad” I tried to tell him shoes daddy, but just waking up in the morning. Dad wasn’t ever open to the answer WHY they and him need to take the anger out on me…Then what was the biggest effect that I couldn’t let go until I stop being me at age 42. I agreed with those kids, dad, the few who prayed on the meek and made me weak. I was worthless and deserved what was said, applied and took the last bit of innocence I clanged too.How dare that boy for making those people feel/see reality. My crime was that I didn’t judge, couldn’t be small or quiet enough, was not worthy enough by dad to take some of his beer money and answer my plea to know something/anything of value so I could think he did care for me and to show those kids one reason to just let me be.December 27th God took it all away and let me forgive and to reunite me back to I. January 9th ish I understood all YOUR really that you see to be a fake reality, but was gave perception, awareness, love, openness and so much more. Four months later and my wife is free and knows God and freedom. Yesterday one I thought I would never see, came back to me after a decade and is FREE and knows God to be his answer way he can be!!! THANK YOU GOD! Know this and know thy…. Thank you God…

I hope it replaces the Bible and all religious dogma
I debated whether to give this book a 4 or 5 star and chose a 5 for the same reason I would have given it a 4. The five was chosen because the books pound the words in your head, a 4 would have been chosen for thinking it was too wordy. But, the result was the point was made clearly and I do appreciate that.People swamped in religious dogma, which I was for decades, probably won’t like his books. People wanting real answers to today’s problems will see his books speak truth on the problems with our beautiful planet and ways to answer those problems. Understanding how terrifying it can be to open your eyes to what religion is really about, I would hope others who read this will walk away and digest his words knowing his words truly could heal the planet and the lies and superstitions that permeate churches, governments, corporations and more.Having the church ways in my life for nearly 5 decades and finally walking away due to my heart not being able to accept the separation of you vs me, the plunder of the planet, the backing of wars, and the long list of religious atrocities going on (all in the name of God), finding his books and others like it was truly a God send to me. It was what I had been longing for.If you are tired of trying to make yourself believe the “bible God” this book is for you. If you are disgusted with religion and it’s demented ideas of holiness this book is for you. If you refuse to believe only certain people are making it to “heaven”, again, this book is your answer. But, if you like being separate, if you hope certain people are hell bound, if you want things to keep rocking on the way they are, you won’t like this book. This book rings to my soul what I always wished a God was really like. This book spoke to me as if all my dreams were coming true. To me there really was another person out there who thought like I did. There really was someone who understood what real justice was.I also recommened two free online books “Message of a Master” by John Mcdonald and “Your Inner Power” by Geneiveve Berhend, and please add “You are God” by Story Waters along with Story’s Messiah Seed book.If you are ready for a spiritual world to develop that leaves behind dogma and tyranny, it’s out there. I keep my Conversations With God and my books from Story Waters on my night stand (where my Bible use to be) and they are high lighted, underlined and have many notes in them just like my Bible. My hope for the world would be all people coming together to work for the healing of our earth and each other. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. But, at this point there is not a will for greed, selfishness and above all else–fear rules in the hearts of many people. Hopefully, this changes soon.Namaste

God/ the Universe is your best friend
This book opened my eyes again to what I knew as a child, that God is not a parental or authoritarian figure, it is your best friend and the ultimate realization is that it is YOU (a broader perspective). I like to use the analogy of a person looking into a microscope. The small amoeba on the slide cannot comprehend the complexity of the entity watching it, but the entity is benevolent and uses tools and nutrients to guide the amoeba in a way that is in the best interest for the amoeba if the amoeba “listens/recognizes signs and synchronicities in its life” that are put in place by the kind entity. God, the Universe or whatever name you want to call it, wants to help you in your physical journey experience. The energy you put out is the energy you receive, listen to the whispers of your heart and follow your emotional guidance system. This book awakened me and I cried many times while reading it after a flood of emotion came over me because there was a deep down knowing in my being that what is written here is the Truth. I had flashbacks to many hard times in my life and realizing that God/ the Universe/ whatever you want to call it was always there by me. We are given free will choice and we can choose pain, suffereing and bondage if we want; however each one of us incarnated on Earth to do something specific to help the collective. This book will bring you closer to the broader perspective of you (God/ the Universe) who can whisper the path that is most resourceful to you to follow that will bring evolution and happiness to your life experience.Happy evolution and communication with your best friend!

Both a bewildering contradictions, riddles and contradictions – and a must read? Scott M.
Perhaps the Closest vehicle we currently have to understanding God – yet full of bewildering contradictions, riddles and contradictions.Brings out More Questions than I had to begin with. Insightful/Enlightening & Frustrating!!With or Without this book – a part of me would like to grab ‘God’ by the throat and ring his neck!!I’m tired of the puzzles of life and death. The more I Think I know – the Less I see we understand.Partially ‘answered’ with More riddles.(Almost expect them to say “Riddle me this Batman!!”) : (I really Hate vagueness and the dilemmas we face. Seems we might be damned if we do – damned if we don’t – or -like this book – Saved if we’re Great – or Saved if we’re the Worst of the Worst.I’m exhausted from trying to explore myself and understand life & God. the “Ultimate Rubik’s Cube of Rubik’s cubes”!!Reading this book – is like giving a dehydrated man a drink – of Salt water. (It both quenches & Causes More thirst!!)This book is both Full of Paradoxes – and an (almost?) ‘Must read’!I’m tried of God. – Those who believe (I guess I do) that God created us – yet we are so flawed -and I keep feeling like we’re expected to Blame ourselves – for ‘his’ lousy job in Making our flaws. : ((If this was Truly written by Both Neale – And God – then Where do God’s royalty checks get Sent??!!) : )Here are Some points of this book – I’ve reacted next to them with either Smiley or Frowny faces to indicate agreement or disagreement;p.425 ‘God is the badness – that makes good’ : (p.441 ‘Most are Not capable of raising children’ : )p.477 ‘Bible is Not largely true’ : )p.483 ‘God doesn’t give us more than we believe we deserve’ : (p.511 ‘Our soul is based on our feelings’ : ( (I did Years of therapy – and I do Not control my lousy feelings!!)p.622 ‘We poison our bodies’ : )p.706 ‘God has explained in this trilogy Why things have happened’ : ( : ( Bull-sh@%!! – This Book Lacks Needed clarity!!

Blue Ink, Difficult to Read
I so wanted a hard cover of the series but the answers from God are in a light blue ink and for my eyes it’s very challenging to read because there is a lot of it. I wish the questions were in blue and the answers in black. Returning.

A “god” who says we can do WHATEVER we want? THIS is NOT from God!
I have to say that I was more than disappointed when I read the book. The bible is about the teachings of Jesus Christ, talking about good and evil, loving and forgiving one another, serving and taking care of others rather than just one self, being the best person you can possibly be by not cursing, murdering, raping, being dishonest, etc etc. The bible talks about spending time in prayer with God, to become closer to Him, and know Him personally. The God of the bible is profound. Jesus died for us on the cross because He loved us so much. He preached about kindness and peace to all, treating others with love and respect, and encouraged us to be good, and become better by fighting temptation.Neale’s writings are automatic writings and automatic writing is not from God. The definition of “automatic writing” is as follows:*A practice where a person, in a state of trance, writes down messages from the spirit realm. The messages are often signed by a spiritual entity or a fallen angel that has been delivering the messages. -this definition is from WikipediaHis “god” talks about living any way you want, be however evil you want to be, and it is acceptable to “god”. There is no need for forgiveness, because there is no right or wrong and therefore, nothing to forgive. That translated into there being no need for the law, jail, etc. if there is no evil or wrong doing and everything is ok with God, then everything should be ok with man, right? Wrong! The book also states that it doesn’t matter how we treat others because it is ok, as long as we are serving and living out our own desires. There is no devil, according to this book. We can do whatever we want without judgment or punishment!Automatic writing, throughout the ages, has always catered to the social practices of the day, and those things with which people struggled that may be right or wrong. Do you HONESTLY believe that God would say that it is ok to continue to murder, rape, torture, molest children, etc? That you shouldn’t even TRY to change your ways? I am not taking the book out of context in any way! This is what it says…we can continue to do WHATEVER we want, including things that we deem as evil, because they are actually not really evil. We will all go to heaven, no matter what. There is nothing for which we should be sorry. So let’s all just do whatever it is that we want to do. Imagine living in that kind of world! No laws, no jails and people doing whatever they wanted to each other? If we all did what Neale says we should do, and do WHATEVER we wanted, WHENEVER we wanted, would you want to live in that world????? I wouldn’t think so, considering you would probably repeatedly be raped and tortured and then murdered by whomever wanted to do that to you, and there would be no need for jail, because it would be ok. “god” said it is. This is just the most hokey piece of crap and sadly, many people have been mislead by it.My God is loving, kind, peaceful, and helps teach me to be a better person, love others, forgive others, help to guide others by teaching them His GOOD word, and He also tells me when I am wrong, so that I can be a better person and treat others more fairly.I am certain that Neale Walsch truly believes he was divinely inspired…he was spiritually inspired, but it was not by God. The spirits of darkness are all around and are very subtle, weaving truth with lies, so as to try to create something that seems to be believable. How can anyone believe this stuff?? One way to distinguish truth from lies is that lies often tell us ONLY what we would want to hear. That’s what makes it so appealing to people. The truth, on the other hand, will let us know that we are fallible, and sinful, we do not always do things right and that we hurt and judge others. And the truth not only sets us on the right path, but also, gives us ways to make ourselves better, and to find true happiness through love, peace, forgiveness, and joy. Just as we parent our children, teach them right from wrong, healthy habits from unhealthy habits, etc and guide them in the right direction, so too, does God do the same for us. He tells us right from wrong, says what He expects and hopes from us (to be good and love others and Himself), and he lets us know what we need to change and work on in ourselves, and He is an example to us, just the way that parents are supposed to be with their children. We were created to be good to one another, to love one another, to fight temptation and sin, to do good deeds, to love and serve God. Let me tell you, the devil is very real! Sin is very real! And it is not from God. God is judgment…He has to be…He is divinely and infinitely good and full of love…He can see that the opposite of love and goodness is hate and sinfulness, and there must be a means to help correct His people, otherwise, we could not live the life of love, faith, peace, friendship, etc. that He has called us to live.We are His children and He loves us. We are His creation and He loves us all, saints and sinners! But He discourages sin, because it keeps us farther from Him…from His plan for us. And guess what? He does not want us to be miserable, but full of love, peace, forgiveness, joy and all things good! Please do not give this book a chance to subtly manipulate you. This is what it can do. Manipulate you to believe that you can live a life full of sin, and it’s ok with God. If you feel what you are doing is wrong, then it most likely is.God bless you all and I hope you all find out the truth!

The Bings –

Returning.
Our Lady’s Victory –
